Below are resources and example files that we have created or have found useful. More will be added in the near future.

Startup Routine

These example files demonstrate the following:

1. How to capture a user name via a standard FileMaker password dialog and use this user name to record who creates records and who modifies records. No plug-in required.

2. Demonstrate a splash screen that shows a status bar of the startup process that works cross-platform in the most elegant, non-obtrusive way possible.
